POSITION AVAILABLE: Long Term Substitute School Social Worker or School Counselor

POSITION LOCATION: Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC) with placement at the ELC Marshall in Marshall MN.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

School Social Worker - works with families and/or children that have emotional social personal or family issues that are interfering with achievement or personal well-being.

School Counselor-responsible for individual student counseling and group guidance functions by encouraging students to obtain the optimum in educational vocational and personal development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

School Social Worker-Bachelors degree required. MN licensure as School Social Worker from Department of Education and MN Board of Social Work. Must have good organizational skills and ability to interact with multiple agencies.

School Counselor-Masters Degree required. Must be eligible for or hold MN licensure as School Counselor from Department of Education.

SALARY/CONTRACT: LT Sub position beginning at the end of September for about four months. Bachelors salary ranges from $54477 to $74870. Masters salary ranges from $64965 - $96796. All dependent on education qualifications abilities and experience. This role includes benefits.
