About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and reliable Administration & Rostering Officer to join our residential aged care facility in Punchbowl.
The Community Field Nurse is a front-line position acting as a representative of My Guardian providing the services offered by the company. Their duties are not limited to those listed as the position has a wide scope of duties at times dependent on the needs of the company.
This position suits someone who enjoys structure works well under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive home assessments and design personalised care plans that truly meet each clients needs.
- Lead mentor and empower care teams providing expert nursing guidance and ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Deliver hands-on clinical care including wound management medication administration and dementia assessments.
- Monitor client wellbeing promptly identifying and reporting any changes in health or behaviour.
- Coordinate holistic multidisciplinary care by liaising with hospitals doctors and allied health professionals.
- Maintain accurate compliant documentation aligned with policy funding and regulatory standards.
- Build strong client relationships while fostering a high-performing customer-focused culture.
- Support operational excellence through collaboration with My Aged Care NDIS and internal administration teams.
About You
- Current and valid AHPRA Registration
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Compassionate patient and caring nature
- High level of organisational and time management skills
- Competent using Google Docs and able to learn business systems quickly
- Must have experience with care systems.
- Sound computer skills in Office and Excel (or similar)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Drivers license with access to own vehicle
