We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Advisor Ethics & Compliance to play a key role in supporting Enbridges commitment to regulatory excellence and ethical this role you will help facilitate the governance and execution of Enbridges regulatory compliance management program support the Permit Acquisition and Compliance Management Process and enable accurate reporting through compliance management systems.

What You Will Do:

  • Monitor changes to laws regulations permits and regulatory guidance relevant to Enbridge and support awareness across teams.

  • Provide operational support data maintenance and troubleshooting for compliance systems such as Encompass (Enablon) and related tools.

  • Track regulatory commitments permit conditions and compliance activities monitoring due dates and escalating risks or delays.

  • Review and analyze permit applications and operational requests for accuracy and completeness providing guidance to project teams.

  • Support internal compliance reviews audits and assurance activities through planning evidence collection and documentation.

  • Maintain compliance documentation and training materials supporting updates and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Contribute to compliance risk assessments reporting and training by analyzing trends identifying gaps and promoting best practices.

Who You Are:

  • Related university degree or diploma in Policy Computer Science Business/Commerce Science or Engineering preferred with 4 years of directly related experience in regulatory compliance environment lands project management experience and/or oil & gas industry experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a collaborative environment.

  • Highly organized self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities with strong attention to detail.

  • Work independently while building productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Experience or aptitude in compliance systems reporting and process-based work.

  • Familiarity with Encompass (Enablon) Power BI Power Apps or policy development is considered an asset

Preferred:

  • Experience coordinating management reporting across a diverse stakeholder group is considered an asset.

  • Experience with crafting reviewing and editing policies and procedures is viewed as an advantage.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment

  • Occasional travel to Enbridge office locations

Salary Ranges from $85000.00 $11000.00 CAD for Ontario locations based upon candidates experience skills and internal equity.

Physical Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Grasping kneeling light moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement.
