Job Summary

Community Housing Limited is seeking a Business Support Officer to provide administrative and project support across key transformation improvement and performance initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Quality and Improvement you will help coordinate project activities support governance processes and contribute to business improvement priorities across the organisation.

This is a full-time permanent role based in our Brisbane Office in Eight Mile Plains with hybrid working arrangements available. It offers a very competitive salary and salary packaging is also available to increase your take home pay. What youll do

Reporting to the Head of Quality and Improvement the Business Support Officer plays an important role in supporting transformation improvement and performance initiatives across CHL. This dynamic role provides project administrative and coordination support that helps deliver organisational priorities and contribute to CHLs vision of a world without housing poverty.

Day to day you will:

  • Provide high-quality administrative and support across transformation and improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation records and files within SharePoint ensuring information is accurate accessible and up to date.
  • Format and quality-check organisational controlled documentation including forms procedures reports presentations and other documentation in line with organisational and brand standards.
  • Assist with project delivery tasks including logistics coordination records management document control and data updates.
  • Help improve processes systems and administrative procedures that support business improvement priorities.
  • Support the planning and delivery of internal communications and engagement activities for transformation projects.
  • Respond to ad hoc information requests and provide general administrative support to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with quality standards document management requirements and CHL brand guidelines.

What Youll Bring

  • Tertiary qualification in business business administration project management or equivalent capabilities derived from relevant experience.
  • Extensive administrative experience in a similar role within a large multifunctional organisation including experience working in complex environments.
  • Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and work effectively with people across all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience handling sensitive information with a high level of integrity discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to work autonomously with considerable independence judgement and initiative while maintaining a focus on outcomes.
  • High level problem-solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint.
  • Commitment to CHLs values and to contributing to a positive balanced and safe workplace.

Appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks including Police Working with Children and NDIS checks where applicable. All pre-employment checks will be arranged during onboarding.
