We are seeking a Refuge Support Worker to join our dedicated team. This role provides clientcentred support within a residential refuge environment ensuring safety stability and pathways toward longterm independence.
About the Role
Provide respectful traumainformed support to women and children in risk assessments and develop safety clients with immediate needs: accommodation food transport and essential emotional support crisis intervention and active listening (training provided).Support clients to build daily living skills and accurate case notes SHIP records and referrals appointments and multiagency case in buddy shifts including weekends/ to a safe supportive refuge environment.
About You
Diploma (or equivalent experience) in Community Services or related supporting people experiencing crisis or risk assessment and crisis intervention nonjudgemental and culturally communication and teamwork to work in a fastpaced dynamic with Microsoft Police Clearance (within 3 months) WA Drivers Licence and WWCC.
Desirable:Experience with FDV homelessness mental health AOD issues and complex needs.
