Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are looking for an experienced Junior Production Support Engineer (L2)to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers designers and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Monitor production systems and ensure application availability and performance
Handle incident management and perform initial triage and resolution
Analyze logs to identify issues and support root cause analysis (RCA)
Work on production issue analysis and coordinate with L2/L3 teams for fixes
Set up and maintain monitoring/alerting in tools like Geneos New Relic Scribe GCO
Track and manage tickets using tools like ServiceNow or Jira
Follow escalation procedures and ensure SLA adherence
Support deployment validations and post-release monitoring
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must-Have Skills:
Basic experience in Production Support / Application Support
Knowledge of incident handling and troubleshooting
Familiarity with log monitoring and analysis
Exposure to monitoring tools (Geneos / New Relic / similar tools)
Good-to-Have Skills:
Basic understanding of Linux/Unix environments
Knowledge of SQL for basic queries
Good communication and coordination skills
