Assistant Professor of Mathematics

Position Summary:Oklahoma Christian Universitys College of Engineering and Computer Science seeks a full-time tenure-track or visiting Mathematics faculty member to teach undergraduate courses support student mentoring and advising and contribute to departmental and university service in alignment with OCs Christian mission.
Responsibilities:
- Teach 12 credit hours of undergraduate mathematics courses both in-person and online per semester
- Provide spiritual academic and professional mentoring for students.
- Advise students in their program of study
- Participate in department curriculum planning and assessment tasks
- Create and maintain appropriate educational records to document students academic performance observing appropriate confidentiality.
- Serve on university and college-level committees.
- Other duties as assigned
- Masters or PhD in Mathematics or Mathematics Education
- Teaching experience and evidence of scholarship in the field of expertise is preferred
- Ability to communicate and positively engage students and colleagues.
- Active member of a local church that aligns with OCs Christian mission
Salary and Benefits:Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications.
