Marketing Intern

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and organized Marketing Intern to support the day-to-day marketing and operational efforts of our construction company. This internship is ideal for a student or early-career professional interested in marketing construction project management and business operations. The intern will assist with content creation jobsite documentation social media internal coordination and provide support across departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Content Support

• Visit active jobsites to photograph and video document construction progress
• Organize and maintain a library of project photos and marketing assets
• Assist with social media content creation and posting
• Help create marketing materials including brochures presentations newsletters and project profiles
• Support website updates and portfolio development
• Assist with writing captions project summaries and company announcements

Jobsite & Project Coordination

• Coordinate with project managers and field staff to schedule site visits
• Capture milestone updates and completed project photography
• Ensure branding consistency across project signage and marketing materials
• Help track project progress for internal and external communications

Administrative & Cross-Department Support

• Assist departments including estimating operations business development and administration as needed
• Support event preparation trade shows networking events and community outreach efforts
• Help maintain organized digital files and project documentation
• Perform general administrative tasks and special projects assigned by leadership

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing Communications Business Construction Management or related field
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable visiting active construction jobsites and interacting with field personnel
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
• Basic photography and video editing skills preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Experience with Canva Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools is a plus
• Self-motivated adaptable and willing to help wherever needed
