The Opportunity
The HR Systems Analyst plays a critical role in driving the performance reliability and continuous improvement of HR systems. This position combines technical expertise with business insight to optimise system functionality enhance user experience and ensure data integrity.
By partnering closely with HR stakeholders the Analyst identifies evolving business needs and translates them into effective system solutions ensuring the organisation maximises the value of its HR technology investment.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 Workday systems support by troubleshooting issues performing basic root cause analysis maintaining security roles and foundational data and assisting with organisational structure updates and data loads.
- Support system optimisation by analysing performance contributing to configuration improvements and identifying process efficiencies within Workday.
- Assist with projects by supporting planning testing and rollout of Workday updates enhancements and new module implementations while using structured project methodologies.
- Contribute to data management by assisting with reporting maintaining data integrity and developing an understanding of Workday security and access controls.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and vendors while documenting system processes workflows and technical improvements to enhance overall system effectiveness.
Required Skills and Competencies
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems Business or a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to collaborate and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong sense of ownership with the ability to proactively investigate troubleshoot and resolve issues while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly take initiative and operate independently while delivering outcomes.
Experience working with HCM systems ideally in a Level 2 support environment.
Workday experience including strong knowledge of Core HCM Compensation Absence and Talent modules with hands-on experience in Functional configuration EIB and system.
