BackTrack is a nationally recognised organisation supporting young people who are doing ittough to find safety purpose and a community that never gives up on them. Wework differently with dogs with farms with real-world learning and with awhole lot of heart.
This isnt a traditional NDIS Support Coordinator position and you wont be providingdirect support to participants. Instead youll work behind the scenes to makeNDIS processes clearer smoother and better aligned to BackTracks programs.
Were looking for someone who can walk alongside young people and families as they navigatethe NDIS ensuring their supports align with their goals and help themparticipate fully in BackTrack programs.
This is a part-time 15 hours per week (0.4 FTE) position located in Armidale.
What Youll Be Doing
In this role youll help young people and families understand and navigate NDIS funding sothey can participate fully in BackTrack programs. Youll coordinate internallywith Youth Workers Wellbeing and Finance teams to ensure NDIS-supported youngpeople are integrated safely and smoothly into daily activities while keepingdocumentation records and invoicing accurate and up to date.
Youll liaise with families plan managers and external providers track participant budgetssupport plan reviews or applications where needed and maintain a clearoverview of NDIS engagement across the BackTrack cohort all whilecontributing to a positive values-driven team environment

Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience working with the NDIS system
- Experience with NDIS invoicing claims or administrative processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills time management and record-keeping skills
- Strong computer skills including MS Office
Desirable
- Experience in youth or community services
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice
- Experience supporting young people with complex needs
