Terrain NRM is seeking a Program Leader to overseea current portfolio of projects with a strong sustainable agriculture andlandscape resilience focus across the Wet Tropics region.
About the role
You will play a key role in leading the developmentof critical business initiatives and leading a team to successfully deliver projectsfocused on sustainable agriculture and landscape resilience. You will workclosely with delivery partners landholders industry Traditional Owners Governmentagencies and community organisations to support effective development ofindustry and community initiatives and outcomes that focus on collective andenvironmental benefits.
Key responsibilities within a within a LandscapeResilience portfolio include:
- Lead planning and coordination of programs within scope budget andquality standards aligning with funders and stakeholders expectations.
- Monitor program performance against key objectives and ensure timelyand accurate reporting to management funders and key stakeholders in alignmentwith approved project budgets work plans and contractual requirements.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities and implement strategies toproactively manage risks and capitalise on the opportunities to increase the impactand success of the program.
- Lead and coordinate activities across various projects managingproject managers and teams to ensure effective collaboration and communicationincluding resolving conflicts and ensuring that resources are allocatedefficiently.
- Ensure timely and quality data collection is implemented across theprogram to track project impact and effectiveness.
- Support develop and lead direct reports and a team of projectdelivery staff.
Location
This role is based in the Wet Tropicsregion with flexibility to work from one of Terrains offices with hybridwork opportunities. Travel within the region will be required to supportproject delivery and stakeholder engagement.
