The Blueprint Math Fellows Program was developed from Blueprints research-based school improvement framework which identifies the practices most strongly associated with student success. Central to this work is high-impact small-group math instruction tailored to students individual learning needs. Since launching in 2010 the program has helped schools accelerate math achievement through data-driven tutoring and targeted academic support.
Today Blueprint partners with public school districts and charter school networks in Oakland CA; Phoenix Yuma Apache Junction and Miami AZ; Saint Louis MO; East St. Louis IL; and Washington DC to implement high-impact math tutoring programs that support students and schools.
Position Summary
Blueprint Schools Network is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Program Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our math tutoring program (Blueprint Fellows Program) across partner schools in Arizona.
The Program Coordinator will work closely with tutors and Blueprint team members (Program Human Capital Data) to help ensure smooth program implementation and a positive experience for students Fellows and our School Partners.
This is a hybrid position based in Arizona. The incumbent must reside in Arizona and be available for travel to partner school sites throughout the state including some rural communities every 4 to 6 weeks and as needed to support program operations. This is a full-time exempt at-will position.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination & Administrative Support
- Support the day-to-day coordination of tutoring program operations across assigned school sites.
- Assist with ensuring accurate program records by monitoring both student data trackers and Fellow time and attendance logs.
- Help prepare stakeholder reports by organizing program data and adding operational context as needed.
- Support communication and coordination with school partners regarding access to technology systems materials and school campus logistics.
- Communicate school schedule updates and operational changes to Fellows during assemblies testing periods special events and other school schedule adjustments.
- Assist with coordinating and administering STAR assessments student surveys and other program evaluation activities.
- Escalate operational issues or concerns to program leadership as appropriate.
Fellow Support & Communication
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for Fellows regarding schedules logistics and program expectations.
- Reinforce professionalism standards and program and school campus policies with Fellows and escalate performance concerns to Math Fellows Program Director as needed.
- Share resources reminders and operational updates with Fellows throughout the program year.
- Support Fellow onboarding and engagement activities.
School & Team Collaboration
- Build positive working relationships with school staff and Blueprint internal team members.
- Support clear and timely communication between Fellows schools and program leadership.
- Participate in team meetings training and program planning activities as needed.
- This role collaborates closely with the Math Fellows Program Director Program Manager Coaching & Lesson Planning Consultant(s) and the Human Capital Team to deliver cohesive Fellow support.
- Ensure that lesson planning observations and feedback loops form a seamless experience for each Fellow.
- Share insights with the Program Team to support ongoing program improvement and Fellow development.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 13 years of experience in education nonprofit programs operations support administration or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Meet Docs Sheets).
- Proficiency with data systems or data trackers.
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must reside in Arizona and consistently have access to reliable transportation to travel on-site to Blueprint school partner locations across the state including rural communities.
- Ability to submit timely travel reimbursements per Blueprint policy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in K12 education tutoring programs youth development or nonprofit organizations.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets attendance tracking systems or student data systems.
- Experience supporting early-career staff.
Compliance and Clearances
To ensure the safety and well-being of the students we serve the Program Operations Coordinator must be able to satisfy all state and partner school district compliance requirements prior to their official start date. This may include but not limited to obtaining and maintaining a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) Fingerprint Clearance Card and successfully passing a comprehensive criminal background check. Candidates must provide any required health documentation necessary for school site access which may include proof of immunization and/or negative TB test results.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Hybrid role with a combination of remote work and on-site support every 4 to 6 weeks and as needed to support program operations at partner schools across Arizona.
- Standard business hours (MST) with occasional flexibility needed to support school schedules and program activities.
- The Program Operations Coordinator must have the physical mobility to navigate diverse school campuses and classrooms and the stamina to stand walk or sit for extended periods during school site visits. Additionally the candidate must be able to lift and transport program materials weighing up to 25 lbs to support on-site logistics and school campus needs.
- Blueprint will provide necessary technology equipment to support remote work functions.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $50000$55000 annually commensurate with experience. Paid bi-weekly

Retirement Employees may contribute to a 401(k)/Roth plan after completing one year and 1000 hours of service.
Paid Leave Blueprint offers a comprehensive paid leave package. Vacation is accrued based on tenure 10 days in year one 12 days in year two and 15 days from year three onward. Employees also accrue up to 10 days (80 hours) of paid sick leave per calendar year (January 1 December 31). Blueprint observes 14 paid holidays annually including New Years Day Martin Luther King Jr. Day Presidents Day Memorial Day Juneteenth Independence Day Labor Day Indigenous Peoples Day Veterans Day Thanksgiving and the day after and Christmas Day plus a half-day on both Christmas Eve and the day before Thanksgiving. Employees also enjoy a paid winter break between Christmas Day and New Years Day.

Travel Reimbursement Mileage reimbursement is provided for all approved work-related travel at the current IRS standard mileage rate.
