Job Summary

Miller Electric-The Summer Administrative Associate responsibilities include supporting department administration and management. Critical abilities for this position are strict attention to detail and the ability to shift from one process or function to the next rapidly and seamlessly. The applicant must also be proficient in Microsoft suite programs. #miller

*This role is a 12-week part-time position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support activities across various locations ensuring smooth workflow and communication.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to administrative assistants and office staff.
  • Provide a professionally maintained office environment.
  • Support assigned special projects by gathering information organizing materials tracking action items and preparing drafts or summaries.
  • Assist with updating spreadsheets reports presentations and internal documents as needed.
  • Shadow experienced administrative staff to learn best practices in office management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations during the summer term.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of trust and confidentiality with sensitive items
  • Positive attitude and the ability to work with and learn from others
  • Computer skills to include: word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
  • Agility in computer software
  • Skill in organizing and establishing priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload accordingly
