About the role
As the Team Leader Maintenance Planning you will lead a team responsible for planning and preparing maintenance activities for our metro conveyance assets so operational teams can deliver services safely efficiently and on time. Youll oversee the development and scheduling of maintenance activities ensuring work programs are aligned with our reliability requirements delivery capabilities and accurately reflected in maintenance systems to support annual planning and budgeting outcomes.
Working closely with operations asset planning and integrated operations teams youll play a key role in improving maintenance effectiveness integrating new and upgraded assets and driving continuous improvement in planning processes. As a people leader youll guide and develop your team monitor performance manage risks and contribute to broader business planning to ensure maintenance activities align with organisational priorities and longterm objectives.

What you can expect with this role
- Leading and supporting a team responsible for maintenance planning and scheduling
- Developing realistic annual maintenance work programs aligned to budgets and resources
- Coordinating with operations and asset planning to ensure maintenance readiness
- Ensuring maintenance information is accurate and up to date in planning systems
- Monitoring team performance workloads and key delivery milestones
- Driving continuous improvement in maintenance planning processes and practices
Your skills and experience
For this role we are looking for great talent with:
- A relevant degree qualification and bring substantial experience in maintenance planning and people leadership
- Proven experience leading and supporting teams to deliver planned maintenance outcomes
- Skills in developing and managing annual work programs aligned to budgets and resource capacity
- Good communication to collaborate effectively with operations and asset planning teams to ensure maintenance effectiveness.
- Strong systems capability and ensure maintenance data is accurate and fit for purpose
- A performancefocus with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to manage priorities and deliver results
