Leicestershire County Council is expanding the Adult Mental Health Review Team and we are seeking Social Workers (4 full time and 1 part time) who are passionate and skilled in working in mental health is a vital role in delivering high-quality person-centred reviews in line with the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Health Act 1983 ensuring that adults with mental health needs receive the support they need to live independently safely and with dignity.
About the Role
You will work collaboratively with the person carers and professionals across health and social care to review care and support plans promote recovery and uphold the principles of wellbeing and independence to ensure the persons outcomes are met.

About You
To apply for this post you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria:
- Be a qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England.
- Have knowledge of social work methodologies social care policies such as person-centred approaches and asset based social work and relevant legislation including The Care Act Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
- Have experience of effective assessment and risk management delivery safeguarding experience court work experience and multi-agency/multidisciplinary working and/or hospital discharge processes is essential.
- Ideally have experience of working directly with people in the Mental Health field.
- Have experience of partnership working with adults to identify and meet need with creative and pragmatic solutions.
- Be a confident communicator who is skilled in diplomacy persuasion assertive and conflict management and able to build effective working relationships and be able to work proactively individually but also as a team member.
- Have good prioritisation and time management skills and have a valid UK driving licence or access to a vehicle
