Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality psychiatric and emotional support care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients with behavioral health and psychiatric conditions
- Assess patient mental and physical health status and monitor behavioral changes
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Support crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records
- Collaborate with physicians therapists social workers and healthcare staff
- Promote a safe therapeutic and patient-centered environment
Requirements
Certifications
- BLS/BCLS certification required
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of Behavioral Health RN experience required
Licensure
- Active State RN license required
