Senior Trainer – Talent Development Leadership Emerge (Temporary Assignment)

JOB SUMMARY:

Facilitate leadership development programs and professional training classes in support of Universal Orlando Resort business needs goals and brand promise. Responsible for development delivery facilitation and measurement of training.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitates UO Leadership Development curriculum; including salaried-level/emerging leader courses. Supports facilitation of high potential supervisory development program.
• Designs and customizes program materials; including facilitator guides participant workbooks presentations job aids. Incorporates ongoing evaluation information into class materials on a continuous basis.
• Researches designs and develops new training programs and materials. Ensures training materials are updated relevant and support current Standard Operating Procedures. Incorporates measurement and assessment tools to support all training. Analyzes trends identifies gaps and uses UO metrics and measures (GSAT TSAT 360 Performance Evaluations etc) to development targeted training plans based upon findings.
• Builds and maintains strong business partner and subject matter expert relationships to gather ongoing needs assessment information and build curriculum content.
• Understand and actively participate in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university in a related field required.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years experience in training required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-4 years leadership experience preferred in a service industry is a plus.
