Your Potential Role
As an Event Coordinator youll play a key role in delivering CBNs national Program of Events supporting broker engagement industry partnerships and community connection. Reporting to the Network Engagement Partner youll coordinate a diverse portfolio of events including golf days end of financial year and end of year events and support the Network Engagement Partner with the Annual Conference and other events as required. You will ensure every event is delivered smoothly professionally and aligned with CBNs strategic goals. This role blends event logistics stakeholder management and on-the-ground coordination giving you the opportunity to see your workcome to life through memorable experiences for our network.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a personal portfolio of events such as Golf Days End of Financial Year events and other events as directed.
- Plan coordinate and deliver events including logistics administration and onsite management
- Maintain event templates standards and program consistency across all activities
- Research evaluate and recommend vendors based on quality capacity and cost
- Coordinate meetings and communication with key internal and external stakeholders
- Support the development and execution of event initiatives and engagement activities
- Ensure the events reflect CBNs commitment to diversity equity and inclusion
About You
Were looking for someone who is organised proactive and passionate about delivering exceptional events.
You will ideally bring:
Experience
- 2-3 years experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role and ready to take the next step
- Experience supporting or coordinating a variety of events (hospitality networking events hybrid formats etc.)
- Experience using event management software
- Ability to travel from time to time for the events
Skills
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Clear and confident communication
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Stakeholder management and relationship building
- Proficiency in EventsAir and Microsoft Office
