Senior Project Manager – Mining Projects, Argentina

Important: Candidates must have proven experience in copper mining projects heap leaching platforms mining process facilities and/or chemical treatment plants. This experience is mandatory for consideration.

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major mining and industrial infrastructure projects in San Juan Argentina.

The role requires proven experience in copper mining projects including heap leaching platforms (leach pads) mining process facilities and chemical treatment/process plants.

This is a senior leadership role focused on project execution contractor management stakeholder coordination and delivery oversight across all project phases.

This is an on-site job based in San Juan Argentina

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mining and infrastructure project execution from development through construction and commissioning.
• Manage scope schedule budget risks and overall project delivery.
• Coordinate engineering procurement construction and operational interfaces.
• Oversee contractors construction management and site activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety quality and environmental standards.
• Manage client relationships and reporting processes.
• Support commercial contractual and strategic project decisions.
• Drive project performance and delivery objectives.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 15 years of proven experience in mining projects industrial infrastructure projects EPC / EPCM environments and construction and project management roles.
• Mandatory proven experience in copper mining and related base metals projects.
• Mandatory proven experience in heap leaching platforms / leach pads mining process facilities and chemical treatment or process plants associated with mining operations.
• Engineering degree is mandatory: Civil Mechanical Chemical Mining Engineering or related disciplines.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is mandatory including full professional proficiency.
• Ability to lead meetings presentations and reporting in English.
• Strong experience managing contractors and subcontractors construction activities multidisciplinary teams project controls and client interfaces.
• Experience working on remote mining sites and high-altitude operations is highly desirable.
