Investment Operations Initiative Delivery Lead Collateral
Job Summary
Were recruiting for an Investment Operations Initiative Delivery Lead to support the successful delivery of operating model change across Collateral Services within Investment Operations. Working as part of the Investment Operations Initiatives team the role focuses on delivering highquality scalable solutions that enable Investment Operations to adapt and grow in support of L&Gs global asset management products and clients.
The role works closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders and strategic external vendor partners to deliver fitforpurpose solutions within agreed cost and timeline constraints. It plays a key part in collaborating across teams to resolve issues effectively fostering teamwork open communication and strong stakeholder engagement throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Drawing on experience in operational change and solution delivery the role supports the development of standardised global services leveraging automation and AI capabilities where appropriate. It is also responsible for actively managing risks and issues as delivery progresses ensuring timely resolution or escalation to maintain successful outcomes.
What youll be doing:
- Delivering fitforpurpose solutions through design build testing and operational readiness supporting Investment Operations teams in adopting new processes
- Delivering largely outsourced global operational solutions aligned to market regulatory and internal requirements within agreed timelines
- Proactively partnering with L&G stakeholders outsourced providers and third parties to ensure service quality controls and business needs are met
- Collaborating with the wider team to track mitigate and escalate risks and issues driving timely resolution where required
- Aligning approaches across multiple stakeholders and escalating to business leadership as needed to ensure successful outcomes
- Providing subject matter expertise and change experience across Investment Operations and wider L&G teams to resolve issues and design challenges innovatively
- Playing a lead role in defining testing approaches supporting CUAT operational readiness hypercare and production issue resolution
- Building strong partnerships with service providers and vendors driving continuous improvement ensuring regulatory compliance and sharing relevant market insights internally
Who were looking for:
- Demonstrated experience in asset management and investment operations with a strong understanding of service recipient needs and expectations
- Extensive experience working with operational teams supporting collateral management and delivering operating model change
- Strong knowledge of outsourced operational services including service delivery models client expectations and relevant regulatory requirements
- Experience delivering solutions aligned to robust risk and control frameworks
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively contributing effectively within large teams and complex change programmes
- Strong prioritisation problemsolving organisational and decisionmaking skills with sound independent judgment
- Flexibility and resilience in fastpaced changeable environments with the ability to manage multiple and conflicting demands
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex messages clearly to a range of audiences
