Job Summary

I&M Machine and Fabrication Corp is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician.

We are looking for a competent Maintenance Technician. Must have technical skills and knowledge of various equipment related to our industry. The goal is to ensure that facilities and machines are in good and safe condition at all times.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair 3 phase electrical AC & DC systems control circuitry VFDs & PLCs mechanical or hydraulic problems
Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure that production machinery runs smoothly
Inspect operate or test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions
Perform routine maintenance for all company vehicles
Perform inspections of equipment in accordance with company policy
Perform emergency repairs as needed.
Complete tasks as assigned by management
Comply with federal state and company policies procedures and regulations
Maintain plant facility and utilities through routine inspections
Ensure completion and updating of appropriate records documents and/or reports
Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
Inspect and maintain building systems (heating ventilation etc.)
Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations new equipment installs)
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations

Skills

Strong technical knowledge of Welding CNC Lathes Lasers Saws overhead cranes etc.
Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations
Understanding of budgeting and performance management
Excellent planning and leadership abilities
Computer savvy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma; Degree from a vocational school will be a plus

Starting Wage: $30
