• 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Compensation

• Weekly Pay: $1800 $2150
  Compensation based on experience and eligibility.

Position Overview

A healthcare facility in Atlanta Georgia is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with oncology experience for a travel assignment. The LCSW will provide psychosocial support counseling crisis intervention and care coordination for oncology patients and their families within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for oncology patients and families
• Provide counseling emotional support crisis intervention and coping strategies
• Assist patients with adjustment to diagnosis treatment and end-of-life concerns
• Coordinate discharge planning and referrals to community resources
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility policies
• Advocate for patient rights and access to supportive services
• Support patients experiencing anxiety depression grief trauma and treatment-related stress

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license required
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent LCSW experience within the specialty required
• Minimum 1 year of oncology experience required
• Prior hospital-based social work experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication crisis intervention and interdisciplinary collaboration skills required
