Job Summary
The Leidos National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) Program is looking for a part-time Quality Assurance Specialist to support the Federal Aviation Administrations (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center for Advanced Aerospace in Atlantic City New Jersey. This is an on-site position.
The position acts as the central hub for ensuring company adherence to standards maintaining high-quality outputs and streamlining operational workflows. This role involves developing maintaining and auditing ISO (International Organization of Standardization) Quality Management Systems (QMS) conducting internal audits and providing general administrative support to improve operational efficiency.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- ISO Quality Management
- Develop maintain and update the ISO Quality Management System (QMS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other official documents.
- Perform internal audits.
- Monitor metrics to identify gaps and drive improvements.
- Lead root cause analysis for non-conformities and implement corrective/preventative actions.
- Serve as a liaison for external audits and customer inquiries regarding quality.
- Auditing
- Examine records and operational processes to ensure compliance with internal policies and laws.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential inefficiencies or vulnerabilities.
- Review documentation to corroborate evidence for audit findings.
- Prepare detailed audit reports for management offering practical recommendations.
- Administrative Support & Operations
- Provide general administrative support including answering phones scheduling and office correspondence.
- Manage document control systems including archiving version control and maintaining employee training records.
- Coordinate track and monitor special projects and department deadlines.
Requirements:
- Requires a BA degree and 4 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 6 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree requirement.
- Experience in testing auditing and quality control systems like ISO and QMS.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and reporting abilities proficiency in QA software and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft 365 Products and Applications (e.g. Teams Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Ability to analyze data identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
- High level of accuracy in inspecting products or auditing processes.
- Strong written and verbal skills for creating reports and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Experience creating detailed test plans reports and compliance documentation.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in federal government contracting.
- Working knowledge of FAA systems.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $65650.00 - $118675.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
