Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is currently accepting applications for a Senior Environmental Lab Analystposition. Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

Senior Environmental Laboratory Analyst is the advanced working or lead worker level in the series. Incumbents perform a variety of difficult and precise standardized tests and analysis requiring initiative in using a variety of analytical methods and equipment to obtain test results within set parameters. Incumbents in this class are expected to carry out varied assignments without detailed instructions or guidance and can exercise considerable independent judgment and initiative in performing their assigned duties. Incumbents often provide work direction and job specific instruction to assigned staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Either: 1. Two years as an Environmental Laboratory Analyst in the Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer).
Or: 2. Two years of progressively responsible environmental laboratory experience performing tests in chemical bacteriological or public health.
AND
Twenty-four (24) semester hours in college or university laboratory courses such as chemistry physics biology or bacteriology.
