SAP B1 Techno-Functional Consultant

Position Description:

We are seeking a versatile SAP B1 Techno-Functional Consultant to serve as the first-line of defense for our SAP Business One environment. This role requires a unique blend of deep business process knowledge and technical system the position focuses on technical optimization through advanced querying and reporting the primary objective is to maintain system integrity and resolve functional hurdles rather than performing custom software will be responsible for ensuring that core business processes run smoothly while executing essential technical change requests to improve system utility.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities asSenior Consultant Principal Consultantare but not limited to the following:

. Act as the primary technical point of contact to troubleshoot system errors performance issues and third-party add-on failures before escalation.
. Provide expert guidance on core ERP workstreams including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Financial Accounting (including journal adjustments and reconciliations)
. Independently manage technical change requests that improve business visibility and efficiency such as: Authoring and modifying SQL or HANA queries for formatted searches alerts and data validation. Designing and updating Crystal Reports and system print layouts. Managing User-Defined Fields (UDFs) Tables (UDTs) and Objects (UDOs).
. Maintain and support the stability of the add-on ecosystem (e.g. warehouse or localized solutions) ensuring seamless integration with standard SAP functions.
. Execute data uploads clean-ups and migrations using the Data Transfer Workbench (DTW) or standard import utilities.
. Translate operational requirements into functional specifications identifying where a configuration change or a new report can solve a business challenge.


All CGI partners may be required to perform duties outside of their normal duties from time to time as necessary.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Business One Support or consultancy role.
. Strong proficiency in writing and debugging SQL/HANA queries.
. Proven experience creating and editing complex Crystal Reports.
. Experience in system-level configuration rather than custom SDK-level coding.
. Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes specifically within Finance (Journals AP/AR) and Operations (Purchasing and Sales cycles).
. A methodical approach to troubleshooting with the ability to diagnose whether an issue is functional (user error/process) or technical (data/configuration).
. Ability to bridge the gap between technical constraints and business needs communicating clearly with both end-users and senior technical leads. Education
. Bachelors or masters degree in IT Computer Science Business or a related field.
