Managing Legal Administrators supervise the day-to-day operations for approximately twelve Legal Administrative Assistants. Serves as the primary operational leader for legal administrative workflow execution ensuring consistent performance quality standards and responsive support to thetrialteam andcourts.
The District Attorneys Officelooksto hire two Managing Legal Administrators. Onepositionmaysupervise District Court Special Victims Unit Gilpin County and Intake functions.TheotherpositionmaysuperviseCounty CourtReception Central Servicesand Juvenile functions. Anticipated Hiring Range:$70000-$100000USD Annually
Compensation will bedeterminedbased on education experience and skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
manages staff activities and workflow including hiring coaching mentoring training monitoring handling conflict scheduling authorizing leave taking corrective action and conducting performance evaluations.
ensures staff are cross-trained and have opportunities for professional growth and development.
establishes short- and long-term goals andobjectivesfor individuals and units with a goal of process improvement and effective communication.
troubleshoots issues and communicates changes in policy and procedures to stakeholders.
ensures department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are current accessibleaccurate and used to train.
evaluates workflow assigns projects andestablishesminimum performance standards for units.
audits reviews and generates reports around case management workflow and performance.
works closely with law enforcement the courts the Chief Technology Officer and other Managing Legal Administrators to automate streamline and troubleshoot workflow for increased accuracy and efficiency.
furthers the goals of the District Attorney and oversee statutoryconstitutionaland ethical obligations of the District Attorneys Office including Rule 16 Discovery obligations.
assumes other tasks including managing archives data destruction and blocking case access.
fills in for staff during absences with hands on support during periods of high volume.
in conjunction with other Managing Legal Administratorsmaintainssystems as administrator: ACTION E-Filing DMV Colorado District Attorneys Council programs and other systems.
other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
Minimum Five years work experience with two years supervisory
Will consider anequivalent combination ofrelevanteducationand experience
