This role will support setup configuration and workflow assistance for Silicon Labs EFM8/C8051 microcontroller development using Simplicity Studio. The position requires experience with Simplicity Studio embedded C assembly language 8051-based microcontrollers IDE/toolchain setup and firmware build/debug processes.

This position is a short-term contract support/mentoring role with the potential to grow into a longer term engineering role. Additional firmware support may be available depending on project needs. This role can be supported remotely but candidates local to the Lynnwood/Seattle WA area are preferred.

Must be W2 under contract. Cannot be Corp-to-Corp or 1099.

Pay: $60 - $90 / hr

Qualifications:

5 years experience with embedded firmware development
Experience with Silicon Labs EFM8 Cor similar 8-bit microcontrollers
Experience with Simplicity Studio or modern Silicon Labs development tools is a must
- Experience with firmware build download debug and tool-chain workflows
- Ability to support IDE setup project configuration and troubleshooting
Embedded C Assembly experience
Strong communication skills for remote technical support
