Senior Appian Engineer (Sydney)

Whats the Role:

As a hands-on Appian Engineer youll use your skills in building designing maintaining and testing for the development of our technology used by the Digital Consumer Finance technology team. You will also engage with various stakeholders and become an expert in your domain whilst supporting the broader engineering community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design development and implementation of Appian workflows and solutions
• Translate business requirements into technical designs aligned with Appian best practices
• Provide handson technical leadership to developers ensuring highquality delivery
• Own endtoend application performance optimisation and troubleshooting
• Conduct design and code reviews to maintain standards performance and maintainability
• Partner with service owners to define requirements and translate them into technical user stories

What do I need

• Strong analytical technical design and problemsolving skills
• Deep Appian expertise including BPM SAIL Appian Records and process models
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git Bitbucket Jenkins or Bamboo
• Solid integration experience with REST services and external APIs
• Strong understanding of API security and authentication (OAuth JWT)
• Exposure to modern platforms and tools such as Kafka Spring Boot Splunk or AppDynamics (desirable)
