As a Security Officer Full Time in Minneapolis MN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location where you will conduct routine patrols stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer this people-first role you will support a welcoming environment through clear communication teamwork and integrity while bringing an agile and reliable approach to daily responsibilities.

Pay Rate: $28.79 / Hour

Minimum 3 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors customers and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location sales floor entry points parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe daily activity across the location to help to identify suspicious behavior policy violations and/or maintenance concerns for follow-up.
• Support retail operations by assisting with de-escalation directing foot traffic and communicating professionally with store leadership customers and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
