The Opportunity
Were looking for an experienced Site Works Coordinator with a trade background to manage shutdowns and small-scale projects operating out of our Parkes Operation. This is a practical site-focused role that involves daily supervision business development and coordination of works to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
Work will primarily be local to Parkes with occasional travel required for projects further afield.
Salary will be within $170k to $200k working a 50 hour week along with a company vehicle housing options and relocation support.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate shutdowns and small project works
- Oversee daily site activities and supervise crews
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Liaise with clients subcontractors and internal teams
- Support business development activities and maintain client relationships
- Ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within scope
- Provide basic reporting on progress and site activities
- Supervise and coordinate teams of tradespeople and subcontractors
- Drive a culture of safety ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide regular reports on project progress risks and opportunities to the Branch Manager and other key stakeholders.
- Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of MCA Engineering through effective project leadership.
About You:
- Previous experience in site coordination supervisor or similar role
- You will have a trade qualification supported by leadership background with a minimum of 2 years experience in Site Works Coordinator role
- Proven ability to run construction or maintenance projects
- Strong planning and scheduling skills
- Confident with report writing and documentation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to safety and fostering a positive team culture
- Ability to work independently and solve problems on the ground
- Experience in underground mining or heavy industry preferred
- Current drivers licence and construction white card
- Ability to travel as needed with flexibility to work across Australia.
