Salary: Starting from 28280 per year

Persona: Contractual hours to be worked from allocated site(s) in East London with ad hoc office attendance as required

Hours: 8 to 4 Monday to Friday

Role Profile Grounds

Join our Grounds Maintenance Team at L&Q:

We are seeking a Static Gardener/Grounds Maintenance Operative who is dedicated and easy-going individual to help maintain our scheme at Chobham Manor Stratford East London.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hedging lawns shrubs and perennials with the ability to organise and prioritise gardening tasks throughout the seasons and will have strong communication skills both written and verbal and be IT literate.

Your impact in the role:

• Mowing and lawn care
• Planting and general aftercare
• Pruning and hedge cutting
• Weeding and border maintenance
• General landscaping upkeep
• Using horticultural machinery including pedestrian mowers hedge cutters strimmers and backpack blowers
• Pesticide application PA1 & PA6
• Working as part of a team

What youll bring:

• Horticultural experience
• Good plant knowledge
• Driving license desirable
• Enjoys working outdoors.
