Position: Physical Therapist Assistant
Salary Range: $29-$34 per hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday with weekend rotation
Facility: Skilled Nursing Facility
Job Description:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant you will work closely with our Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care and treatment to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating and developing individualized treatment plans for patients
- Implement treatment plans and provide hands-on therapy to patients under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to improve their mobility and function
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and ethical standards in patient care
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution
- Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
