Laminator Operator I (Machine Operator Manufacturing)

Night Shift: 5:45 PM 6:15 AM (12-hour continental schedule)

Job Summary
We are hiring a Laminator Operator I to operate laminating and production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on machine operation quality control and safety compliance while meeting production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate laminating machines and related equipment safely and efficiently
• Mix adhesives and verify calculations per production specifications
• Inspect first-piece quality and ensure product meets standards
• Read and interpret job orders and production instructions
• Load materials manage substrates and monitor machine performance
• Maintain clean work areas in compliance with SQF/food safety standards
• Handle hazardous waste using proper procedures and containers
• Report safety quality or equipment issues promptly
• Support continuous improvement audits and team initiatives

Qualifications

• 1 year of machine operator or manufacturing experience (lamination preferred)
• Ability to read a ruler/tape measure and perform basic math
• Experience handling chemicals or adhesives is a plus
• Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to safety quality and attendance

Work Schedule

• 12-hour rotating continental schedule (3 days one week 4 days the next)
• Off every other weekend
