Job Summary

Job Description:

  • Review AFEs to clear costs to appropriate capital accounts
  • Assist in managing Operating AFEs
  • Assist EOGs Company-Owned Rental (COR) program
  • Analyze and recordvarious monthly overhead entries
  • Monitor monthly JIB process checks and controls
  • Post and close AFEs in accounting system
  • Work with Ops team to record monthly Manual Journal Entries (MJEs) as necessary
  • Perform account reconciliations and ad hoc analysis
  • Work with and assist HQ accounting counterparts with various Ops accounting tasks
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited institution in Accounting or related business field including core accounting classes relevant to the position is required. CPA designation is a plusbut not required.
  • Strong PC and analytical skills (MS Excel Word etc.).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and to meet rigorous deadlines.
  • Knowledge of SQL AS/ 400 system and MS Query is a plusbut not required.
  • Must be able to work and communicate effectively with others within and outside the organization.
Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
