Finance & Accounting Intern (September 2026) (8+ months)
Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in month-end and year-end close processes assisting with preparation of journal entries maintenance of proper supporting documentation. and the preparation of financial statements reports and variance analysis.
- Perform credit card and bank reconciliations reviewing for policy compliance.
- Maintain finance procedures and related process documents.
- Contribute to a team effort and undertakes other special projects as requested.
Requirements
- Working towards a bachelors degree in commerce or business Administration (Accounting or Finance major preferred) or similar program.
- Working towards all necessary prerequisites for admission into the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Professional Education Program (PEP).
- Very high attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
- Strong communicator: oral written interpersonal
- A growth mindset self-motivated and excited to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superb Microsoft Office skills; specifically Excel & PowerPoint.
- Previous accounting related office experience is an asset.
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.
- Available for a full-time internship beginning September 2026 for at least 8 months.
- Work out of our new Toronto office (24 Ward Street) at least 4 days per week.
