This position requires candidates to be available for consecutive co-op terms totaling at least 8 months starting September 2026.
Kepler is on an audacious mission: to bring the internet to space. Founded in 2015 our ambition is to provide internet connectivity in space whether in LEO MEO GEO or beyond. With an expanding base of early customers and our first 23 satellites in orbit Kepler is rapidly scaling and thrives on innovation and collaboration. Kepler is now continuing to grow and expand its most important asset the Team!
As the Finance & Accounting Intern you will work closely with the finance & accounting team to maintain data integrity in our ERP (NetSuite) participate in monthly/annual close processes maintain SOPs and perform financial analysis. This intern role is centered around supporting the day-to-day operations of the business helping the business make data empowered decisions and being the front-line point of contact for our suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in month-end and year-end close processes assisting with preparation of journal entries maintenance of proper supporting documentation. and the preparation of financial statements reports and variance analysis.
  • Perform credit card and bank reconciliations reviewing for policy compliance.
  • Maintain finance procedures and related process documents.
  • Contribute to a team effort and undertakes other special projects as requested.

Requirements

  • Working towards a bachelors degree in commerce or business Administration (Accounting or Finance major preferred) or similar program.
  • Working towards all necessary prerequisites for admission into the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Professional Education Program (PEP).
  • Very high attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
  • Strong communicator: oral written interpersonal
  • A growth mindset self-motivated and excited to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Superb Microsoft Office skills; specifically Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Previous accounting related office experience is an asset.
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.
  • Available for a full-time internship beginning September 2026 for at least 8 months.
  • Work out of our new Toronto office (24 Ward Street) at least 4 days per week.
Hourly Rate Range: $21.00-26.00 CAD
Actual total compensation will be determined at the Companys discretion and is based on a variety of job-related factors which may include but are not limited to relevant knowledge skills experience performance and education and/or training.
