BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
Overview
As a Business Development Representative you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers across frontier AI labs and enterprise prospects. You will identify reach and engage the research teams that can benefit most from our data and evaluation products. This is a foundational sales hire meaning you will not just run an existing outbound playbook you will help build one. Success in this role means turning cold outreach into warm conversations and warm conversations into qualified pipeline.
About the Company
The company builds training data and evaluation infrastructure for frontier AI labs. They work with leading AI labs to design high-signal datasets and run rigorous evaluations that go beyond static benchmarks. This is a small post-Series A team where individual contributors can directly impact how the next generation of models learns and improves.
What Youll Own
Own outbound prospecting across cold email LinkedIn Twitter/X and industry events
Research and identify key contacts at frontier AI labs and enterprise prospects
Drive qualified pipeline by turning outbound conversations into warm opportunities
Define and iterate on ICPs messaging and outbound playbooks with the founding team
Develop enough product fluency to clearly communicate value around data and measurable model improvement
Track pipeline activity maintain CRM hygiene and report on outbound metrics
Requirements Must Have
1 to 3 years of experience in a BDR SDR or outbound sales role
Strong written communication with the ability to write sharp concise credible cold emails
Technical literacy around AI/ML concepts such as model training evaluation and data quality
Comfort prospecting across multiple channels including email LinkedIn Twitter/X and in-person events
Scrappy self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and build from scratch
Requirements Nice to Have
Experience in B2B SaaS DaaS or AI
Experience or genuine enthusiasm selling into technical or R&D-oriented buyers
Familiarity with outbound tooling such as CRM sequencing tools and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Experience attending or representing a company at AI/ML conferences meetups or industry events
Compensation
Base Salary: $80000 - $100000
Bonus: 40-60%
OTE at Target: $112000 - $160000
