SENIOR FULL STACK ENGINEER

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own core systems across the full stack from backend services and data pipelines to the product surfaces that operations teams use every day. You will build and scale Python and TypeScript backend services design PostgreSQL databases manage AWS infrastructure orchestrate workflows with Temporal and ship React frontend surfaces all with full ownership of what you build in production.

This is a high-ownership role at a company past zero to one with real traction and strong month-over-month revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Build and scale backend services using Python FastAPI and TypeScript that power AI agent workflows

Design and optimize PostgreSQL database models and queries for high-throughput document processing

Build and manage infrastructure on AWS and orchestrate workflows using Temporal

Architect and ship React frontend surfaces that give operations teams visibility and control over automated workflows

Build intuitive human-in-the-loop AI interfaces that make AI outputs transparent explainable and manageable

Own AI agent integrations document ingestion pipelines and real-time processing systems

Work directly with founders and customers to ship fast and iterate on what matters

Requirements Must Have

5 to 8 years of professional software engineering experience in high-growth fast-paced environments

Deep proficiency in TypeScript and React with the ability to architect complex state management for data-intensive applications

Strong command of Python for backend services and advanced SQL (PostgreSQL) for database design and query optimization

Startup experience at a legitimate company not just a two or three-person side project

Bias for action prefers shipping over over-engineering and drives cross-functional delivery with minimal supervision

Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco fully in-person

Requirements Nice to Have

Experience integrating AI APIs and handling complex document extraction workflows

Background at a top 50 school

Familiarity with logistics supply chain or enterprise workflow software

Excitement about equity over base and desire to be part of an early high-ownership team

Compensation

Salary Range: $210000 - $285000

Equity: 0.25% - 0.6%
