Job Summary
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily assembly and sewing operations in a fast-paced flag and banner manufacturing facility. This role oversees a team of 20 employees ensuring high-quality production efficient scheduling and consistent on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily sewing embroidery and assembly operations for flags and banners
- Supervise and lead a production team of 20 employees (staffing scheduling performance)
- Develop and execute production plans and schedules to meet output targets
- Optimize material flow and inventory to prevent shortages and delays
- Partner with sales and customer service to resolve quality issues
- Serve as subject matter expert on banner/flag assembly and finishing
- Maintain quality standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years (5 preferred) in production management within embroidery textile or sewn products manufacturing
- Hands-on experience in flag/banner assembly embroidery or textile finishing
- Proven leadership managing 20 direct reports in a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with production planning scheduling and material management
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Preferred Background:
- Embroidery shops textile manufacturing apparel production or signage companies with embroidery/finishing operations
- Demonstrated success in improving production efficiency quality and on-time delivery
Work Environment:
- On-site role in Dover NJ (ZIP 07801)
- Candidates should be within a 3045 minute commute
