Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join a leading acute care healthcare facility. The PT will provide high-quality patient-centered rehabilitative care through comprehensive evaluations individualized treatment planning and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. This role focuses on improving patient mobility restoring function reducing pain and supporting overall recovery and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Evaluation & Treatment
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and functional assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility strength balance and function
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
Patient Rehabilitation & Care
- Provide hands-on therapy services in an acute care environment
- Support patient recovery discharge planning and continuity of care
- Ensure safe and effective use of therapeutic equipment and modalities
Patient & Family Education
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy exercises assistive devices and recovery strategies
- Promote patient independence safety and long-term wellness
Collaboration & Documentation
- Collaborate closely with physicians nursing staff and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies safety standards and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)
- Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy or higher
- BLS Certification required within designated timeframe after hire

Preferred Qualifications
- Acute care or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to manage patient caseloads in a fast-paced healthcare setting
