Job Summary
CrewSELECT is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Light Gauge Steel Frame Assembler to join a busyworkshop team in Rocklea. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in steel framing who is looking for stable ongoing work within a supportive environment.
About the Role
Working within a fast-paced workshop environment you will be involved in the assembly and preparation of light gauge steel framing systems for residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
Installing lintels and bracing components
Marking and identifying steel members accurately
Troubleshooting assembly issues as they arise
Stacking completed frames for strapping and loading
Assisting with general workshop duties
Maintaining a safe and organised work area
Skills & Experience
Minimum 12 months experience working with light gauge steel frames
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience installing lintels and bracing
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Reliable work ethic and ability to work within a team
Forklift ticket advantageous
