As a Sr Advanced Project Engr (technical lead)you will be serving South East Asia countries on implementing Integrated Process Control & Safety shutdown Functions and logic Sequence for FPSO and performing Commissioning and system startup. Engages end users and EPC from the conceptual or FEED stage of a project onwards. Defines the requirements of Process sequence control Process Safety engineering & Risk Assessment system implementation networking and virtualization cyber security and its sub vendor system interfaces to achieve operational effectiveness goals of the end user and project execution goals of the EPC.

Shall maintain a high level of general knowledge of engineering solutions standards and procedures to be able to influence/ lead internal and external customers in the effective management of engineering scope of large projects from concept to completion.

Shall lead and give guidance to an engineering team in a project environment performing basic & detailed engineering material specification for procurement configuration of hardware / software (DCS/SIS/FGS) testing installation and commissioning of Honeywell supplied systems while interfacing with clients on technical issues and identifying changes or variations in the scope of supply.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• To work with Project Manager and Engineers to review design inputs and schedule planning.
• Represents Honeywell in end user and EPC environments as a technical leader/authority on Process control & safety system network and wireless solution
• Support FEED efforts with EPC and end user in scope definition schedule and cost estimates system definition and interface requirement
• Production of FEED deliverables for major projects including Basis of Design documents interface specifications and architecture block diagrams through close collaboration across all engineering disciplines.
• Contributes to Owner/EPC documents such as Basis of Design and Philosophy documents for system network wireless design
• implement complex process control strategies and programming in Experion PKS control environment of Honeywell.
• Drive project productivity through solution optimization resource mix and tight control of scope schedule quality
• Supervise multi-discipline engineers including remote engineering team and ensure smooth project delivery
• Identifies opportunities for value adding applications or products to assist operational or business readiness goals and engages specialists as appropriate
• Development maintenance and adherence to project engineering standards and procedures
• Responsible for engineering consistency across different contracts
• Review and control of design and implementation deliverables against project requirements and lead the technical review session with customers and engineering team
• Technical risk identification assessment and control
• Define and drive interface requirement with 3% party system and integration plan with Honeywell system

MUST HAVE

• Preferably candidate with experiences on Honeywell Experion PKS and Safety Manager.
• Candidates with other Process Control system/product/FPSO will be consider as well.
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Science/Computer Science (essential)
• Professional certification Experion Migration Certification
• Experion Controls application programming
• Minimum 7 years experience in Oil and Gas (onshore and offshore) Refinery Chemical Power industry and proven track record in handling industrial automation projects engineering as technical lead
• Familiarity with working across engineering disciplines in an EPC environment to design and specify ICSS packages and their interfaces
• Working knowledge of multi-disciplined EPC environments
• Detailed knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Refinery Chemical standards and best practices
• Strong Implementation skills on Batch controls and program for Pharma and Batch chemical plants
• Strong knowledge of the Instrumentation Control discipline Network Telecommunication and Industrial Internet of things (IIOT)
• Experience with engineering lifecycle challenges and the ability to bring lessons learned to the design process to aid constructability operability and maintainability
• Experience in system network wireless applications and designs
• Detailed knowledge of the architectures of DCS and SIS.
• Detailed knowledge of the project lifecycle for DCS (key deliverables dependencies interfaces methodologies).
• Working knowledge of:
  • Field instrumentation and measurement
  • Alarm design philosophies
  • Alarm management solutions
  • Field instrumentation FFB Hart Wireless ISA/HART
• Detailed knowledge of methodologies for automation of drawing HMI) configuration and testing as well as instrument databases
• Possess managerial skill leadership and ability to perform consistently in all areas of the job assigned
