About the Role
As a Crematorium Technician you will assist in the day-to-day operation of the Councils crematoriums ensuring all cremations are carried out in strict accordance with legislation environmental requirements and best practice. You will play a key role in supporting bereaved families funeral directors and colleagues by delivering services with care respect and sensitivity at all times.
About You
- Experience of working in an operational or technical environment ideally within bereavement or public services.
- A calm respectful and compassionate approach when working with bereaved families and members of the public.
- An understanding of the importance of health safety environmental compliance and accurate record keeping.
- A strong commitment to equality diversity and inclusion respecting religious cultural and personal beliefs.
