Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior cooking experience a positive attitude and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while standing for extended periods.

Schedule & Pay

• Full Time
• 8am to 5pm and 1 hour for lunch
• Pay based on experience
• Works with inmates

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes
• Ensure proper food preparation handling and storage
• Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Present food in an appealing and appetizing manner
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and sanitation
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience required
• Knowledge of special diets preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old (position located within a jail facility)
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation
