West Coast Homecare is provider of in-home aged care and disability support services and has been facilitating care in the community for more than 30 years. Our people live local work local know local.
The Role
We are seeking casual Domestic Assistance Workers to join our local friendly team to be located in Tumby Bay Cleve Cowell and surrounding areas.
Role Duties
- General house cleaning vacuuming dusting sweeping washing floors.
- Personal wet area cleaning bathroom toilet and laundry.
- Change bedding and make beds.
- Personal laundry including care of the care recipients clothing bedding that can be machine washed and ironed.
- Arranging for dry cleaning of care recipients clothing and bedding that cannot be machine washed.
- Unaccompanied shopping and/or ordered and delivered to home.
- Dishwashing and cooking of basic meals this is not the primary focus of service delivery.
- House cleaning tasks such as cleaning and defrosting.
- Minor outdoor tasks including veranda and very basic raking sweeping and watering.
About You
- The successful applicants will benefit from having:
- Exceptional consumer focused customer service skills with experience in working in a home care environment.
- Flexibility and a genuine commitment to getting the job done in a timely manner.
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
- Willingness to gain an SA NDIS Worker Check.
- Current drivers license.
