Job Description

The Equipment Coordinator will assist the Equipment Supervisor in overseeing theinventory allocation and utilization of construction equipment. This role involvesscheduling maintenance ensuring compliance with safety regulations conductinginspections and coordinating with construction teams and external vendors to ensureoptimal equipment availability and efficiency.

  • Assist in overseeing the inventory allocation and utilization of construction equipment to ensure optimal availability and efficiency.
  • Schedule and perform regular maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure it is insafe and working condition.
  • Ensure all equipment operations comply with safety regulations and standards andimplement safety protocols to prevent accidents and hazards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and address any issues or
  • potential problems.
  • Work closely with construction teams to understand equipment needs and ensure timely provision and support.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage maintenance and repairs.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for equipment servicing repairs and procurementas needed
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency andeffectiveness.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned promoting a positive team environment and a culture of collaboration.

Work Conditions:

  • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • May require working extended hours including weekends and holidays to meetproject deadlines

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Preferred Bachelors degree in Construction Management or a related field. Relevantexperience may offset educational requirements.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment maintenance procedures and safetystandards.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in equipment management or a related field in largeand complex construction project/ industrial project/ logistic project.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple locations and changing priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment is an asset.
  • Must possess a valid Ontario Driving license G or G2
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

This role offers an annual base salary in the anticipated range of $90000$120000 CAD with compensation determined based on experience qualifications and internal equity.
