We are searching for a highly motivated Client Service Manager to join our growing Client Service Manager serves customers by completing various banking transactions efficiently and accurately while adhering to check cashing and withdrawal authority limits in addition to managing a team of Client Service Representatives. This position requires a high school degree or equivalent (associates or bachelors preferred) along with 5 years of experience to commensurate with responsibilities detailed below.
Unlike other banking Branch Managers this position does NOT work weekends and has NO sales goals!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coach provide support guide and motivate our Client Service Representative (CSR) team.
- Conduct mid-year and annual performance reviews for CSRs.
- Lead onboarding and training of new CSR team members
- Identify skills or knowledge gaps among CSR staff and develop individualized learning plans.
- Support the CSR team by assisting with all CSR responsibilities as needed.
- Maintain working knowledge of personal and business banking products and services including electronic banking mobile services cash management general deposit operations ACH processing wire transfers ATM operations and debit card management.
- Assist clients with complex inquiries research and problem resolution.
- Complete weekly cash supply orders as needed.
- Monitor vault and teller cash levels to ensure that balancing procedures are properly followed.
- Monitor ATM cash balancing.
- Approve wires.
- Assist with daily and monthly reporting of new and closed accounts account maintenance transfers debit cards and iPay.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and all related reporting and record-keeping requirements.
- Follow Parksides Customer Identification Program (CIP) and all bank policies procedures and guidelines relating to BSA OFAC and related acts to protect both our clients and Parkside.
- Follow fraud-prevention best practices and educate clients of fraud protection tools and resources.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client service and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal departments to enhance communication efficiency and overall team support.
- Actively participate in the planning and implementation of new products and services.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of related banking experience
- Experience managing a team required
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelors degree preferred)
- Experience with Jack Henry SilverLake preferred
- Ability to navigate and learn new computer systems and websites
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Service-oriented and patient in stressful and challenging situations
- Thrive on engaging with customers; able to begin a conversation build rapport and handle objections
- Able to work both independently and as an integral part of a team
