We are currently looking for an I&C Precommissioning Engineer to join an industrial EPC project in Sines Portugal supporting Instrumentation & Control precommissioning activities on site.

Site / field-based

Estimated project duration:
Until March/April 2027

Conditions:

Accommodation provided.
Daily allowance.

Responsibilities:

Participate in Instrumentation & Control precommissioning activities on site.

Verify installation cabling wiring and basic configuration of field instruments.

Support cold checks loop checks signal tests and functional tests.

Review installation drawings hook-ups cable routing and related technical documentation.

Participate in system inspections walkdowns and punch list follow-up.

Support signal verification and interfaces with PLC DCS SIS or similar systems.

Coordinate activities with Construction QA/QC and other site teams.

Ensure compliance with project safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

Technical degree or Engineering background related to Instrumentation Automation Electronics Electrical or similar.

Previous experience in industrial projects Oil & Gas petrochemical energy or similar sectors.

Experience in field/site activities related to Instrumentation & Control.

Previous exposure to precommissioning loop checks functional tests or commissioning activities will be valued.

B2 level of English is desirable.

Availability for immediate incorporation or short notice will be highly valued.
