Accounting Team Lead

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Accounting Team Lead to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accounting professional who enjoys leading teams managing client relationships and delivering high-quality accounting services across a varied client portfolio.

Location: On-site Mosta

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Team Lead your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Support the Accounting Leader in managing a portfolio of clients across different industries

• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients

• Act as a main point of contact for client queries and provide responsive support

• Supervise coach and support team members

• Review management accounts audit working files VAT returns and payroll runs

• Plan and prioritise client work while delegating tasks effectively across the team

• Promote collaboration communication and teamwork within the department

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant

• Minimum of 3 years local experience in a similar role

• Strong understanding of local VAT and payroll legislation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to build strong client and internal relationships

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard office tools

• Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
