Summary: Provides technical assistance and rapid issue resolution for trading systems hardware and applications used by front-office personnel on the trading floor.
Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time technical support for traders and front-office staff resolving issues related to trading platforms market data feeds hardware and network connectivity.
- Monitor the health and performance of trading systems and escalate incidents as needed.
- Collaborate with infrastructure application and networking teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems. Document recurring issues and contribute to the creation of support guides and knowledge bases.
- Ensure minimal downtime and maintain compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
Skills:
- Experience supporting trading platforms financial systems or high-pressure environments.
- Knowledge of market data applications such as Bloomberg Reuters or ICE.
- Familiarity with Windows Linux scripting and basic networking.
- Strong problem-solving communication and multitasking skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment.
