SUPERINTENDENT
The Superintendent assumes all responsibility for managing the day to day operations on the jobsite including coordination of workers materials and equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- Maintain safe efficient presentable conditions on site
- Ensure houses are built in accordance of the plans and with a high quality of workmanship
- Hold subcontractors to scope of work
- Schedule subcontractors and ensure houses are completed on time and to specifications
- Communicate effectively with sales and office staff
- Supervise Assistant Superintendent and Laborers
- Complete all required inspections
- Maintain excellent relationships with city county and state agencies
- Ensure SWPPS regulations are followed
- Report progress/issues to Construction Manager and/or Project Manager in a timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree in Construction Management preferred
- 5 years of production homebuilding experience required (as Superintendent or Assistant)
- Experience in site work highly desired
- Computer literate familiar with MS Word/Excel/Outlook
- Excellent communication skills with various levels of staff and subcontractors
- Excellent organization & time management skills required
- Team player with strong work ethic
- Ability to handle stress effectively and coordinate multiple projects & people efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail quick thinker and problem solver
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
